Eco Pack

Eco Pack is a community based initiative that aims to provide livelihood opportunities for local women, improve the lives of low income families, and supply environmentally responsible recycled paper products and packaging. We use blank waste paper, banana fiber, spear grass, and invasive plants to create handmade recycled paper, notebooks, greeting cards, picture frames, wallets, and custom product packaging.

Waste water from the production process is used to water a plant nursery next to the workshop. We supply free seedlings for tree planting programs, conduct classes for women in need, and provide educational materials for workers’ children. We are  part of the National Craft Council, National Design Center, National Entrepreneurs Development Authority, and the Vidatha Society of the Science and Technology Department.
